At Make Stuff Move, our mission is to make hands-on learning accessible for all students, inspiring interest in skilled trades, STEM, and practical career paths. We empower educators with easy-to-adopt, turn-key kits that build essential skills, confidence, and curiosity, without the need for specialized environments or prior experience.
By bridging the gap between traditional academics and real-world applications, we provide adaptable resources that bring meaningful, career-focused learning into every classroom. Our commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and educator support ensures that every student can discover, learn, and grow through practical experience.
Common Stuff
At Make Stuff Move, we are dedicated to equipping students with real-world skills through the use of common tools, materials, hardware, and electronics. Our kits are designed to be both practical and accessible, providing hands-on experience with resources students are likely to encounter in everyday life and future careers. This approach ensures that students build confidence in using essential tools and materials, laying a strong foundation for careers in skilled trades, engineering, and other hands-on fields. By using widely available components, we make learning approachable, relevant, and immediately applicable.
We believe in keeping things local. We have committed to creating local jobs by manufacturing as much as we can in Canada.
We produce and source as much as we can, as locally as possible. We produce many of the components in house. Materials are sourced in Canada and the US and for our electronic components we have some great overseas partners.
Redonner
We want to help those in our community. A few years back there was a statement we came across saying that of all things, socks are a typically under donated necessity. When we thought of servo socks and chatted about how we could give back the sock need came up again. So we have pledged to donate a pair of socks for every servo sock sold!
